IT Audit Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Madrid, Spain, with a hybrid schedule combining work from home and the ING MAD office. The role requires international travel for 2–4 weeks per year, depending on assignments.

What you will do

• Prepare and execute IT audits across international ING entities.
• Perform complex fieldwork covering IT infrastructure, platforms, applications, processes, and security controls.
• Assess areas including vulnerability management, IT resilience, security detection and response, identity and access management, and change management.
• Prepare audit reports, agree findings with auditees, and follow up on remediation.
• Develop audit approaches for new topics and contribute to overall audit planning.
• Use data analytics during audits and communicate business risks and recommended controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, in IT, IT Security, or IT Audit.
• At least 2–3 years of experience executing IT audits covering complex IT services, processes, platforms, infrastructure, or applications.
• Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and security, including penetration testing, vulnerability management, operating systems, databases, virtualization, public cloud platforms, networks, and IT processes.
• Valid industry certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CCSP.
• Experience working in international and complex organizations, preferably in financial services.
• Fluent English is required; the role is based in Madrid with hybrid office attendance and international travel.
