What you will do

• Build platform enabling AI agents to interact with external tools, services, and environments
• Design systems orchestrating complex multi-step workflows driven by frontier models
• Work embedded with customers to ship production AI systems
• Extract reusable abstractions and infrastructure from real deployments
• Design reliable interfaces between AI systems and distributed execution environments
• Prototype new architectures and contribute to Mosaic toolkit evolution

Requirements

• 6+ years building production backend systems or developer platforms
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, and service architecture
• Experience designing infrastructure coordinating multiple services or execution environments
• Ability to work in ambiguous spaces and move quickly from prototype to production
• High-agency mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Deep curiosity about agentic workflows and abstractions

Nice to have

• Familiarity with workflow orchestration systems or task execution frameworks
• Experience building developer platforms or internal infrastructure
• Background working directly with customers or design partners
• Experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or distributed systems
