What you will do

• Build and deploy ML models for credit risk, underwriting, marketing, pricing, and operations using rich data sources.
• Research new data sources and unstructured data representations to improve model performance.
• Translate business problems into data questions, analyze data, and propose solutions across multidisciplinary teams.
• Engineer CLI programs and APIs to deliver data services to stakeholders.
• Design, implement, manage, and evaluate product experiments for continuous innovation.
• Mentor data scientists and promote best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience building ML models ideally in credit, lending, or financial services.
• Knowledge of ML techniques, pros/cons, and proficiency in Python with experiment tracking (e.g., MLFlow).
• Experience extracting, cleaning, and transforming data for ML.
• Strong communication skills to present results to stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or leading others; self-driven with ability to lead projects.
• Interest in financial services domain, especially loan/credit card underwriting.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with credit bureau data across multiple geographies.
