Compensation: $90,000-$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers across multiple locations.
• Review and disposition Supplier mechanical design submittals to validate designs based on technical requirements.
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are satisfied.
• Review static structural analyses of designs.

Requirements

• Active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent.
• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Mechanical Engineer.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling software.
• Experience with Model Based Design and static structural analyses (e.g., FEA).
• Ability to apply relevant engineering codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS).
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience reviewing designs for joining processes, such as welding.
