Senior Design Specialist (Nuclear)

What you will do

• Utilize CAD software to create and produce design drawings independently
• Develop, modify, and revise drawings based on engineering input and field conditions
• Perform 3D modeling, preferably with SmartPlant 3D (S3D)
• Conduct field walkdowns to assess systems and translate observations into designs
• Generate minor design details and incorporate into project deliverables
• Provide guidance to junior drafters and designers

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Associate degree in related field
• Minimum 10 years progressive drafting experience in engineering/construction (nuclear preferred)
• Proficiency in CAD tools and 3D modeling (S3D preferred)
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, structural, communications, architectural, fire protection, or civil disciplines
• Knowledge of federal/state/local codes, DOE Orders, and ability to work independently
