What you will do

• Design and secure Azure Government networking with NSGs, Azure Firewall, VNETs, and subnets for zero-trust policies.
• Build automated patching pipelines using Azure Automation, Terraform, or Ansible for STIG compliance.
• Implement DR and HA strategies with Azure Site Recovery for Cybertorch™ infrastructure.
• Maintain Azure Virtual Desktop for secure remote access, scaling, and user controls.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and monitor performance/cost/security with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams for FedRAMP, FISMA, and CMMC alignment and audits.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years in SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering in federal/regulated environments
• Expert in Azure Government: Networking, Monitor, Automation, Policy
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible) in team environments
• Experience with automated security workflows, patching, and STIG enforcement
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, DoD IL4/IL5 infrastructure controls
• Familiarity with cloud backup, DR, and BCP
