Lead Defensive Content Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Lead Defensive Content Engineer (Cybersecurity): Design, build, and test engaging, complex live-fire cyber ranges and hunting labs to upskill defensive capabilities for enterprise customers with an accent on detection engineering, digital forensics, and malware analysis. Focus on pioneering new defensive techniques, researching emerging threats, and leading content innovation for Sherlocks, CTFs, and Pro Labs.

Location: Options: Europe, US (preferably East Coast). Fully Remote / Hybrid. Greek candidates within 55 km of Athens office: 2 days office / 3 remote; others fully remote.

What you will do

• Spearhead development of live-fire cyber ranges and hunting labs for real-world defensive training.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of content engineers in defensive content creation.
• Drive innovation in content formats like Sherlocks, CTFs, and Pro Labs.
• Research vulnerabilities, exploits, TTPs, and threat actors to keep content relevant.
• Pioneer defensive techniques to elevate player skills against modern threats.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
• Expert proficiency with defensive tools (SIEM, EDR, Wireshark, Volatility, Autopsy, IDA) and skills in detection engineering, digital forensics, malware analysis
• Proven experience engineering CTF or gamified learning content
• Deep knowledge of OS, apps, sysadmin (Windows, Linux, VMWare, Cloud)
• Highly organized, self-motivated, passionate about infosec and gamified learning
• More than 2 years leading small technical teams

Nice to have

• More than 2 years practical SecOps experience
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible
