What you will do

• Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, and other tools, managing escalations and responses.
• Investigate security incidents to determine root causes and develop IOCs to prevent recurrence.
• Build, enhance, and maintain internal security tooling, scripting repositories, and automation pipelines.
• Conduct security reviews for infrastructure and system changes to identify vulnerabilities.
• Mentor junior team members and author clear, actionable security documentation.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide security operations support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a security engineering or operations role.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems and strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience in penetration testing, digital forensics, or hypothesis-driven threat hunting.
• Knowledge of modern security tooling including SOAR and vulnerability management.
