What you will do

• Design and deploy scalable DLP and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) solutions across endpoints, email, cloud (GCP, Azure), and web traffic.
• Lead automated classification strategies using machine learning to align data with corporate policies and frameworks (PCI, SOX, NIST).
• Define and operationalize security controls for Generative AI and LLM platforms to prevent sensitive data exposure.
• Integrate data controls with Identity, CASB, SSE, and SIEM platforms to build resilient architectures.
• Investigate data security incidents, refine detection logic, and produce risk reduction metrics.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chicago.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity engineering, including 3+ years of hands-on expertise in DLP and data classification.
• Proven ability to secure hybrid environments and integrate controls across diverse cloud and endpoint ecosystems.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PCI and NIST.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with DSPM tools, CASB/SSE platforms, and automation via Python or PowerShell.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
