What you will do

• Lead formative research activities to support public health communication initiatives.
• Conduct environmental scans to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in messaging.
• Design and implement qualitative and quantitative research, including rigorous message testing.
• Translate behavioral science insights into evidence-based communication strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across communications, digital, and evaluation functions.
• Develop comprehensive research reports and documentation for federal program deliverables.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Public Health, Behavioral Science, Health Communication, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in public health research and message testing.
• Proven ability to apply behavioral science to communication strategy development.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
