What you will do

• Own end-to-end event readiness, including planning, testing, and validating live streaming workflows from acquisition to delivery.
• Serve as SME for video acquisition using IP-based protocols like SRT, RTMP, and alternatives such as satellite.
• Maintain documentation of streaming infrastructure, connectivity, and dependencies.
• Track operational metrics for audience size, stream performance, and platform health to enable post-event analysis.
• Audit broadcast and internet infrastructure like routers and firewalls for performance and resilience.
• Design internal tools and dashboards to monitor video pipeline across efficiency, cost, and reliability.
• Debug and resolve complex playback issues across CTV, mobile, and web, collaborating with engineering teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building video streaming tools with deep expertise in FFmpeg and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of video acquisition and transport protocols including SRT, RTMP, and AWS MediaConnect.
• Proven ability to debug and resolve complex playback issues across CTV, mobile, and web.
• Experience leading live event operations from infrastructure to incident response.
• Strong communication skills to align engineering, operations, and creator teams under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with professional playout systems like Grass Valley AAMP and SDI/NDI transport.
• Hands-on work with cloud video workflows in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Knowledge of video advertising standards (VAST, OpenRTB) and ad pod delivery.
• Background in creator economy platforms or large-scale media tech.
