PSC Manager

What you will do

• Verify test requisitions, patient identification, and perform venipunctures/finger sticks.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and track collections in hirify.global system.
• Ensure quality results, report KPIs biweekly, and maintain safe work environment.
• Resolve unusual orders by contacting physicians or labs and notify internal team.
• Manage phlebotomy equipment, supplies, vendors, scheduling, and small escalations.
• Onboard, train, and retrain phlebotomists as needed for volume growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years phlebotomy experience and 5+ years high-level customer care experience.
• High School Diploma required; BS/BA preferred; Phlebotomy Certification preferred (mandatory where state-regulated).
• Managing/supervising phlebotomy operations preferred; previous financial/budgetary experience preferred.
• General phlebotomy knowledge per state regulations; complete HIPAA/PHI, compliance, and security training within 30 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and possible reimbursable travel for supplies.
