Lead Business Analyst (HR System)

Lead Business Analyst (HR System): Developing a Human Resources System for various Ministries in a Middle Eastern country with an accent on requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, and BA team coordination. Focus on designing complex HR workflows, managing fixed-price project deliverables, and ensuring successful implementation through strategic business travel to Iraq.

Location: Must be based in Croatia, Poland, or Ukraine and willing and able to undertake business travel to Iraq for periods of 4–6 weeks per visit.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate BA efforts and the BA team for a complex, large-scale HR system project.
• Elicit and document detailed business requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
• Manage customer expectations and translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Conduct BA team coaching, mentoring, and perform regular requirements audits.
• Define business change drivers and proactively identify process improvements to increase productivity.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis with proven leadership skills.
• Experience managing midsize or large projects (10+ people) and working with fixed-price contracts.
• Proficiency in process description and BPMN notation.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• English: Upper-Intermediate level required.
• Must be located in Croatia, Poland, or Ukraine and available for business travel to Iraq (4-6 weeks per visit).

Nice to have

• Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
