What you will do

• Design and optimize RAG pipelines and evaluation frameworks to reduce hallucinations and improve retrieval quality over domain-specific content.
• Develop production-grade AI features with integrated guardrails, observability, and reliability measures for scale and latency.
• Create agentic systems capable of reasoning, tool-calling, and executing multi-step tasks via internal APIs and external systems.
• Build a VS Code-based development environment and AI-assisted workflows for generating and debugging applications.
• Architect and operate backend services on AWS using Lambda, DynamoDB, and Terraform.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including building production systems.
• Proven experience building RAG systems beyond prototypes.
• Deep understanding of LLM behavior, limitations, and prompt/system design.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI evaluation pipelines, agent/tool-use architectures, or scaling vector search systems.
• Knowledge of developer tooling (VS Code extensions) and workflow automation platforms like n8n or Zapier.
• Experience working with regulated or domain-heavy systems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
