Service Design Architect

TL;DR

Service Design Architect (Service Design): Designing and delivering complex service models for corporate and public sector customers with an accent on requirements gathering, pricing, and resource planning. Location: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote). Locations: Sheffield, Manchester, or Glasgow. Must hold or be eligible for SC (Security Clearance), which requires a minimum of 5 years working history in the UK.

What you will do

• Design and deliver service models for complex customer solutions, including requirements gathering and resource planning.
• Build and manage senior customer relationships to shape service strategy and operational decisions.
• Lead bid activities by producing high-quality proposals and coordinating with partners.
• Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and third-party agreements to ensure deliverable outcomes.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in service design governance and best practices.

Requirements

• Experience in service design within complex environments delivering customer-focused solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Commercial acumen to balance cost and value during successful business bids.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling written and visual content.
• ITIL4 Foundation certification (minimum).
• Must hold or be eligible for SC (Security Clearance), requiring a minimum of 5 years UK working history.
