TL;DR
Senior Fire Protection Engineer - Design (BIM/Fire Systems): Designing water-based, gas-based fire extinguishing systems, smoke control, and fire detection systems with an accent on compliance with NFSC, NFPA standards and multidisciplinary coordination. Focus on BIM modeling with Revit/Navisworks, clash detection, and leading junior engineers on complex projects.
Location: Onsite at 226, Gasan Digital 1-ro, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul (near Gasan Digital Complex Station). Hybrid work opportunity available.

What you will do
- Perform basic and detailed design of water-based/gas-based fire extinguishing systems, smoke control, and related facilities using mathematical calculations and codes (NFSC, NFPA).
- Design electrical systems for fire detection, evacuation, detector layouts, and control panel logic.
- Develop 3D BIM models with Revit/Navisworks, create fire protection libraries, and coordinate interfaces with MEP, architecture, and structural teams to resolve clashes.
- Prepare design criteria, technical standards, and quantity take-offs for construction drawings.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fire protection engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (associate degree holders may apply).
Nice to have
- Engineering major.
- Firefighting Equipment Technician Certification (Mechanical or Electrical Field).
