TL;DR

Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst (Fintech): Supporting venture fund initiatives through financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and reporting with an accent on capital allocation and strategic priorities. Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY (in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week)

Salary: $86,000 - $130,000 USD (base pay varies by location zone)

What you will do

  • Build and refine fund models incorporating management fees, committed capital, and investment performance.
  • Analyze return drivers and portfolio performance to guide capital allocation and investment decisions.
  • Track AUM, NAV, and portfolio returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Align cost center spend with broader financial goals during fiscal planning and budgeting processes.
  • Conduct financial analyses for business areas and support M&A activities through modeling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4–5+ years of experience in finance, investing, or investment banking, including planning and forecasting.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills to connect data to business outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a structured, timely manner.
  • Must be based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY to meet the hybrid work requirement.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting data to partners.
