What you will do

• Lead technical design and decision-making for large, release-defining projects on the cloud platform.
• Design and implement new capabilities across networking, control plane, and managed service infrastructure, specifically focusing on billing systems.
• Solve complex, mission-critical system problems to ensure scalability and resilience.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, including billing data synchronization and data visualization dashboards.
• Mentor engineers on system design, coding standards, and architectural best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience developing and debugging system-level software in Golang or similar languages.
• Familiarity with distributed systems managed via Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build highly reliable, high-performance system software.
• Experience working in environments where performance, scalability, and reliability are critical.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building cloud-native SaaS platforms.
• Experience working with frontend web frameworks like React.
• Background with cloud-based metering, billing, and generally accepted account practices.
