Senior Software Engineer (SAP)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (SAP): Designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications and solutions with an accent on SAP BTP, ABAP, and cloud integration. Focus on leading the full lifecycle of SAP projects, implementing Clean core principles, and optimizing system performance for automotive transportation.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in or report to Warren, MI or Austin, TX (at least 3 times per week)

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions using BTP, ABAP, and Fiori
• Manage the full lifecycle of SAP projects from requirements gathering to post-implementation support
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for junior developers
• Translate business needs into technical solutions in collaboration with functional teams
• Implement Clean core principles and adapt cloud-based applications using SAP Cloud Platform
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and design specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience developing solutions in RICEFW, RAP, and OData
• Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP BTP implementation
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including RESTful programming and CDS
• Strong experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services
• No immigration sponsorship provided (must have existing US work authorization)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AEM, SAP Datasphere, Flexible Workflow, and Joule
• Experience with SAP Automotive Suite or similar industry solutions
