Lead Planner/Scheduler (Pharmaceutical Projects)

Location: Cork, Ireland; based at the Cork office with hybrid working arrangements

What you will do

• Lead planning and scheduling for large-scale process and manufacturing projects valued at €100M+.
• Own project schedules throughout design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Set milestones, monitor progress, provide schedule updates, and drive recovery actions.
• Lead schedule reviews, planning workshops, project control meetings, and critical path analysis.
• Identify project risks and opportunities while developing planning tools, reporting, and project control processes.
• Mentor planners, graduates, and new team members and support the growth of the Planning and Project Controls function.

Requirements

• Significant experience supporting pharmaceutical projects is required.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical capital project lifecycle is required.
• Experience leading planning and scheduling activities across design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Ability to collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Construction Managers, clients, and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with critical path analysis, schedule reviews, project controls, reporting, and recovery strategies.
• Leadership, coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing skills.
