What you will do

• Design and ship reliable systems for pricing configuration, packaging, trial mechanics, and paywalls.
• Develop integrations between internal APIs and billing platforms like Stripe and Salesforce CPQ.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle from technical design to deployment, observability, and incident response.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to balance near-term delivery with long-term platform health.
• Build and iterate on AI-assisted engineering workflows, including automated triage and domain-aware CI checks.
• Maintain pricing integrity by detecting and preventing drift across configuration, billing, and financial reporting systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience shipping customer-facing or revenue-impacting systems.
• Strong architectural instincts for designing correctness and scale across distributed, integrated systems.
• High ownership of production health, data integrity, and pricing correctness.
• Ability to write crisp design docs and communicate technical tradeoffs effectively.
• Comfort working in high-reliability environments where misconfigurations have immediate revenue impact.
• Daily use of AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) for shipping and automation is required.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in pricing, billing, payments, or subscriptions domains.
• Experience with Stripe Billing, Salesforce CPQ, or similar platforms.
• Contributions to AI-powered engineering tooling, such as MCP integrations or agentic workflows.
• Comfort working across the full stack, particularly with React for user-facing dashboards and paywalls.
