What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services and platform components exposing AI/ML capabilities, contributing to frontend where needed.
• Build, secure, and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes, including configuration, observability, debugging, and security.
• Implement high-performance production-grade backend in Python, using Rust or Go for performance-critical parts.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, MLOps, and Product teams to productize AI solutions on Azure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployment, testing, and monitoring of AI-enabled applications.
• Ensure performance, availability, maintainability in production, handle incidents, participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years as Full-Stack or Backend Engineer, emphasis on backend/platform engineering.
• Experience with generative AI features or LLM-based integrations in product/platform context.
• Strong backend fundamentals: service architecture, REST API design, performance optimization, production reliability; hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure App Services.
• Proficient in Python; PostgreSQL querying/analysis; Kubernetes (workload config, networking, security, debugging); ML serving infrastructure, caching, LLM APIs.
• Platform testing (API, load/performance, auth, E2E for ML), test automation in CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving, independent/team work, strong communication.

Nice to have

• Retail/e-commerce experience.
• High-performance languages like Rust or Go.
