Location: Based in Sydney (Macquarie Park, NSW). Hybrid setup: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

What you will do

• Administer GitLab CI pipelines, runners, and integrations.
• Manage HashiCorp Vault operations, including authentication methods, policies, and secrets.
• Develop and maintain IaC modules using Terraform and Pulumi for infrastructure deployments.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters (Rancher, OpenShift) and implement GitOps workflows via Argo CD.
• Implement platform security practices, including RBAC, image scanning, and secrets hygiene.
• Provide technical support for product teams onboarding to the platform and collaborate on reducing operational toil.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD, HashiCorp Vault, and Ansible.
• Strong experience with Terraform or Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes (Helm, Kustomize) and GitOps concepts.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or TypeScript.
• Must be based in or able to work in Sydney, Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, on-prem VMware).
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or OpenTelemetry.
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, PyTorch) or workflow orchestration (N8N, Temporal).
• Experience with object storage platforms such as MinIO.
