What you will do

• Analyze incident trends and recurring patterns to identify and prioritize automation candidates using ROI-based scoring models.
• Build automation workflows using Python, Ansible, and cloud-native tools (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
• Develop self-service runbook automations integrated with ServiceNow and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement governance controls and approval flows for low, medium, and high-risk automations.
• Measure and report automation outcomes, including effort saved and tickets avoided.
• Collaborate with SRE and Platform teams to ensure reliability, security, and code portability via Git.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in automation engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Ansible.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with cloud automation technologies, including Terraform and various cloud functions.
• Experience integrating ITSM platforms, specifically ServiceNow APIs.
• English: B2 level minimum.
• Work permit and residency in the European Union region are required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying GenAI and AI-augmented development patterns within the SDLC.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes operators or custom controllers.
• Knowledge of ChatOps, SRE practices, and toil elimination methodologies.
• Experience in managed services or large-scale operations environments.
