Platform Operations Engineer

TL;DR

Platform Operations Engineer (Multi-Cloud): Managing and maintaining infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premise environments with an accent on platform provisioning, patching, configuration management, and capacity planning. Focus on executing ITIL change requests, troubleshooting platform issues, collaborating on SRE automation, and supporting disaster recovery testing.

Location: Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. CET timezone coverage as part of nearshore delivery model.

What you will do

• Manage and maintain infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premise environments.
• Perform platform provisioning, patching, configuration management, and capacity planning/right-sizing.
• Execute change requests per ITIL procedures and update IaC with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, participate in production readiness reviews, and support disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with SRE teams on reliability improvements, automation, and CET-timezone operations coverage.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in platform operations, infrastructure engineering, or cloud operations
• Practical experience with AI-powered assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for productivity.
• Hands-on with at least two of AWS, Azure, GCP; strong Linux/Windows admin skills.
• IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi); networking (DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs).
• Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, EKS, AKS); CI/CD pipelines and GitOps.
• Good English (at least B2)

• Structured GenAI in SDLC, agent-based workflows, AI-augmented development.
• Kubernetes operators/custom controllers; cloud certifications (AWS SAA, Azure Admin, GCP ACE).
• DB admin (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB); security best practices; multi-tenant services.
