What you will do

• Generate and pitch creative content ideas to journalists and bloggers to increase client visibility.
• Build and maintain comprehensive media lists for a variety of B2B and B2C clients.
• Collaborate with the content team to create unique, proprietary data that establishes clients as industry experts.
• Monitor news trends and proactively pitch new stories to national news media.
• Nurture long-term professional relationships with writers, reporters, and bloggers.
• Conduct thorough research, validate sources, and find relevant data for pitches.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in an agency or similar PR environment working with major U.S. brands.
• Proven experience running surveys and crafting narratives from data for national news pitching.
• Must be a US resident to qualify for company benefits.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail, near-perfect grammar, and strong editing skills.
• Ability to write effective leads and compelling pitch emails.

Nice to have

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO.
• Experience with Microsoft and/or Google Workspace suites.
• Proficiency with media relations tools such as Muck Rack or Cision.
