Composites Technician - Intern (Fiberglass USV Components): Production of unmanned surface vehicle fiberglass components using composite infusion processes with an accent on mold preparation, bagging, infusing, and quality inspections. Location: Onsite in Valdosta, GA. Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (ITAR/EAR restrictions, no sponsorship).

What you will do

• Adhere to safety policies, use proper PPE, and maintain a clean workstation.
• Perform mold preparation, pattern, cut, and prep fiberglass materials.
• Execute infusion processes including loading, bagging, resin preparation, and RTM Lite for hulls, decks, and components.
• Conduct in-process quality checks, visual inspections, and complete ISPC sheets.
• Identify and report quality issues, participate in process improvements and team meetings.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR/EAR compliance, E-Verify).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years in lamination or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read technical docs, use hand tools, understand infusion and chemical handling.
• Strong attention to detail, safety commitment, teamwork in fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs, stand/walk extended periods, climb, stoop; tolerate noise/dust.
