Solutions Engineer (Google AI)

Solutions Engineer (Google AI): Collaborates with account teams to assess customer AI needs and deliver Google AI solutions including Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI, and Data & Analytics with an accent on consultative pre-sales support and integration with enterprise security. Location: US - Remote, preferred Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ; located near major Google office hub and proximity to major airports; ability to travel to events.

Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 (base + bonus)

What you will do

• Achieve and maintain Tier 1 Google Partner Delivery Readiness for Gemini Enterprise, AI Applications, Vertex AI, and Data & Analytics.
• Evaluate customer AI technologies and needs, collaborating with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, AI Engineers, and procurement.
• Educate sales teams on AI solution selling through trainings and develop collateral, use cases, and demos in SHI lab.
• Provide customer-facing demos, proof-of-concepts, and pre-sales functions for Google AI solutions.
• Stay current on AI trends, engage in self-study, and develop new security services offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience; 3-5 years in similar role, 5+ years in Cloud/AI, 3+ years in Cloud/AI Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Deep expertise in Google AI services (Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Looker); Google ML Engineer, Data Engineer, or Cloud Architect certifications preferred.
• Hands-on experience integrating Google AI with enterprise security; excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events; attention to detail, organization, problem-solving.
