What you will do

• Develop Django-based websites using Python and PostgreSQL.
• Work with large data sets, including scripting imports, exports, data cleaning, and analysis.
• Build frontend data visualization components using TypeScript and Vue.js to enable interpretation of complex pricing data.
• Write effective, scalable code and perform testing and debugging of programs.
• Implement security and data protection solutions and improve existing system functionality.
• Coordinate with team members to translate user requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in Python or strong experience in another programming language.
• Expertise in Django or a similar popular web framework (e.g., Ruby on Rails).
• Good understanding of SQL and efficient database usage.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Must be based in the United States and able to operate on US business hours.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
• Proficiency with git and GitHub.
• Strong professional writing skills.
