What you will do

• Serve as the primary Task Lead, providing oversight and direction for security-related project deliverables.
• Act as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for assigned systems, ensuring full compliance with federal security policies.
• Lead the coordination of security assessments and authorization activities.
• Advise stakeholders on system security requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all system documentation remains accurate and compliant with government standards.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
• Certification: CISSP, GISP, CASP, or other certifications meeting DoD Instruction 8570.1 IAM Level III.
• 7+ years of experience as an ISSO or ISSE at a cleared facility.
• 9+ years of total work experience in computer science or cybersecurity.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with security tools such as Tenable Nessus and Security Center.
• Experience using Splunk for security monitoring and log analysis.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Guardium, HP WebInspect, or NMAP.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or IT.
• Experience managing small teams or serving in a lead technical capacity.
