What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of contractor security professionals implementing the RMF lifecycle for FBI systems.
• Oversee system categorization and define risk management strategies based on mission impact.
• Guide the selection and documentation of security controls aligned with NIST and Bureau risk appetite.
• Direct security control assessments to validate the effectiveness of implemented safeguards.
• Prepare risk management documentation for system authorization and executive decision-making.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and collect metrics to adjust security strategies.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
• 10+ years of experience in secure design, analysis, and testing of information security systems.
• 10+ years of experience implementing and documenting baseline security safeguards.
• 10+ years of experience creating security test plans for risk mitigation.
• CISSP or CEH certification.

Nice to have

• Active Cloud Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer).
• Experience using Jira or GitLab for tracking security engineering tasks.
• Experience working directly with FBI or Department of Justice (DOJ) security standards.
• Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
