What you will do

• Maintain and optimize large-scale Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters in production.
• Automate infrastructure tasks, CI/CD pipelines, and operational workflows to increase system resilience.
• Implement SRE best practices regarding monitoring, observability, and incident response.
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement preventive measures across the stack.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.

Requirements

• Must be based in Colombia
• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cassandra and Elasticsearch in production environments.
• Proficiency in automation scripting using Python, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment frameworks.
• English: B2 level or higher required
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of distributed systems design and resiliency patterns.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud-native environments.
