What you will do
- Develop and maintain pipeline tools to improve workflow efficiency and production quality.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and technical teams to identify needs and propose solutions.
- Research, prototype, and benchmark technical solutions aligned with production requirements.
- Support optimization, debugging, and follow-up on technical issues.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, define shared nomenclature, and train users.
- Validate production data and assist with technical problem-solving, escalating risks as needed.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with DCC tools such as MotionBuilder, Maya, Houdini, or 3DS Max.
- Practical understanding of API workflows.
- Proficiency in Python and visual scripting; C# or C++ as asset.
- Experience with ShotGrid or similar production management tools.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical topics to non-technical partners.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Open Shading Language and shader development.
- Collaborative mindset focused on pipeline development and problem-solving.
