Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 total compensation

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services, APIs, and core platform capabilities.
• Contribute to frontend development, primarily within React-based applications.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to design and deliver reliable, scalable features.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and databases using modern engineering tooling.
• Participate in architectural discussions, design reviews, and technical planning.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development expertise, preferably with Python.
• Experience building production web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Professional familiarity with frontend development, ideally using React.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and/or Snowflake.
• Ability to work from the Boston office two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Nice to have

• Experience in ad tech, analytics platforms, or marketing technology.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-powered products, LLM integrations, or recommendation systems.
• Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical initiatives.
