What you will do

• Evaluate and arrange rug lots (Oriental, Persian, Kilims, etc.) for weekly auctions.
• Review lot titles, descriptions, and images to provide accurate estimated market values.
• Identify new supply types and emerging market trends to grow the Rugs portfolio.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to attract high-potential sellers and onboard new supply sources.
• Analyze auction data to interpret performance and enhance the buyer experience.
• Manage the professional rejection of submissions that do not meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in hand-knotted rugs, including Oriental, Persian, Silk, and Kelims.
• Proven ability to assess authenticity, age, condition, and material quality.
• Experience in valuing objects and determining realistic market prices based on images.
• Must be based in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, or other European countries.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1).
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.

Nice to have

• Commercial experience in price negotiations, seller agreements, and business lead sourcing.
• Interest in utilizing AI tools to streamline workflows and improve conversion.
