What you will do
- Lead and mentor Data Infrastructure Engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Own reliability and operational health of production data platforms including Kafka, Kafka Connect, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
- Design, deploy, and monitor scalable data flows across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Drive automation with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and internal tools for self-service.
- Define monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, platform upgrades, and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python for infrastructure tools, automation, and microservices.
- Deep hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry in production.
- Strong knowledge of ELK stack for observability and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, Ansible, Terraform, and Linux environments.
- 5+ years in data infrastructure or platform engineering; 3+ years leading teams.
- Understanding of distributed systems, DevOps, IaC, security, and cloud/hybrid architectures.
Nice to have
- Experience with RDBMS like MSSQL, stream processing like Flink, multi-tenant platforms, and RBAC.
