TL;DR

Software Engineering Manager (SRE): Leading a distributed SRE team to build and improve internal automation tools for production services with an accent on reliability, incident response, and scalability. Focus on SLO design, capacity planning, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in a high-load environment.

Location: Hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel (3 days per week in office, 2 days remote)

What you will do

  • Lead and coach a distributed team of SRE engineers within the Global SRE group.
  • Drive incident response and post-mortem processes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Design and develop internal automation software to enhance production service maintenance.
  • Implement reliability practices including SLO design, failure analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical system incidents.
  • Maintain high technical standards and oversee the team's output and goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in software development or DevOps roles.
  • 3+ years of experience leading software development or DevOps teams.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and troubleshooting high-load production issues.
  • Proficiency with major Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) at the infrastructural level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Nice to have

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic platforms.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and other observability platforms.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Previous experience specifically as an SRE.
