What you will do

• Monitor and troubleshoot host systems, middleware, applications, servers, and networks using established tools and procedures.
• Perform network monitoring, logical security checks, and anomaly detection, reporting, and escalation.
• Execute, validate, and recover operational processes including draw processing, day-end balancing, file maintenance, and report transfers.
• Coordinate, track, and escalate internal/external customer requests while building effective partnerships.
• Submit recommendations for operational procedures, adhere to SLAs and IT best practices, and support local testing.
• Participate in professional development, mentor junior operators, and provide training.

Requirements

• Two-year technical college degree or comparable experience; 1-2 years in related field preferred.
• Able to monitor and troubleshoot multiple technologies including Unix/Linux/AIX/VMS/DOS basic commands.
• Working knowledge of FTP/SFTP protocols, Office suite, PC operating systems; intermediate knowledge of Retailer POS and call center tools.
• Strong relationship-building, professional communication, technical writing, organization, initiative, and process management skills.
