What you will do

• Act as a technical thought leader, setting a high bar for engineering quality and best practices.
• Develop new features, prototypes, and refactor existing code hands-on using Rust, Python, or JVM.
• Lead design discussions and architecture reviews for high-impact projects.
• Mentor other engineers to raise the overall technical maturity of the team.
• Influence engineering culture by driving standards in observability, security, and cloud design.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to evolve user-facing AI functionality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering covering multiple large-scale, production-grade systems.
• Expertise in at least one and proficiency in at least two of: JavaScript, Python, Rust, or JVM-based languages (Java/Kotlin).
• Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems, including compute and data layers.
• Strong background in cloud architecture and infrastructure design in AWS or Google Cloud.
• Deep familiarity with AI assistants and the evolving AI landscape.
• Ability to lead cross-functional efforts and influence stakeholders without authority.
