What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Interhaptics haptic engine
• Own features end-to-end, from initial architecture to testing and deployment
• Implement high-performance, real-time haptic rendering and playback systems
• Optimize system performance and minimize latency across desktop, mobile, and console platforms
• Collaborate with hardware, platform, and SDK teams for seamless ecosystem integration
• Contribute to the development of APIs and developer-facing tools

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in software development for performance-critical systems
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Experience designing and implementing robust, maintainable software architectures
• Solid understanding of multithreading, real-time systems, and performance optimization
• Ability to work autonomously and drive technical solutions within a large organization

Nice to have

• Experience with haptic systems, real-time engines, or interactive technologies
• Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, Android, iOS, or console development
• Knowledge of device communication standards such as USB, HID, and Bluetooth
