What you will do
- Implement policies and standards to guide technology delivery across retail products and functions.
- Address complex risks, issues, and dependencies, including those with ownership outside the immediate team.
- Shape architectural designs and technology roadmaps for high-volume, mission-critical products and services.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery, and Technical Leads to align technology roadmaps with commercial aims.
- Lead technology selection and introduce best practices for solution designs and strategic alignment.
- Mediate between technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain complex concepts and facilitate high-risk discussions.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in designing complex solutions balancing strategic direction and business delivery.
- Experience defining roadmaps and influencing, communicating with, and guiding stakeholders.
- Technical expertise in Java and Amazon AWS.
- Practitioner of Agile and Lean practices in fast-paced environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as a thought leader.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SpringBoot, Oracle DB, and Terraform.
- Experience with React.
- Proficiency in AWS specifics such as API Gateway and RDS.
