What you will do

• Implement policies and standards to guide technology delivery across retail products and functions.
• Address complex risks, issues, and dependencies, including those with ownership outside the immediate team.
• Shape architectural designs and technology roadmaps for high-volume, mission-critical products and services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery, and Technical Leads to align technology roadmaps with commercial aims.
• Lead technology selection and introduce best practices for solution designs and strategic alignment.
• Mediate between technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain complex concepts and facilitate high-risk discussions.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in designing complex solutions balancing strategic direction and business delivery.
• Experience defining roadmaps and influencing, communicating with, and guiding stakeholders.
• Technical expertise in Java and Amazon AWS.
• Practitioner of Agile and Lean practices in fast-paced environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as a thought leader.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SpringBoot, Oracle DB, and Terraform.
• Experience with React.
• Proficiency in AWS specifics such as API Gateway and RDS.
