What you will do

• Drive fast, high-quality delivery with a bias toward shipping features.
• Remove blockers and continuously improve engineering processes.
• Partner with Product to turn ideas into released features quickly.
• Define and evolve scalable architecture for the payments platform.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security at scale.
• Hire, mentor, and grow high-performing engineers while fostering ownership and accountability.

Requirements

• Team leadership experience.
• Technical understanding at architectural level.
• Experience with complex or large-scale systems and teams at scale.
• Strong communication skills to work with senior stakeholders and translate between business and technical contexts.
• Ability to balance team and product demands, set boundaries, and make decisions.
• Product mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments domain or related financial systems.
