What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineers, including performance management, feedback, and professional growth.
- Define and drive architectural and technical decisions collaboratively with the team.
- Contribute hands-on to code, features, and complex technical challenges.
- Partner with product management and UX to shape product and technology strategies.
- Bridge architecture, product, and UX for robust solutions aligned with customer experience and business goals.
- Foster cross-team collaboration on APIs, interfaces, and consistency while prioritizing pragmatically.
Requirements
- Proven people leadership with experience managing engineering teams in cross-functional contexts.
- Strong hands-on background in modern web technologies (TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind).
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining web applications ("you build it, you run it" mindset).
- Background in e-commerce environments and translating business requirements to technical solutions.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills for aligning stakeholders.
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset in dynamic settings.
