Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in studio), must be based in or able to work from Daresbury or Newcastle, UK

What you will do

• Own and contribute to game features and components for AAA co-dev projects across a wide range of genres.
• Manage the full design cycle from initial sketching and ideation to final shipping.
• Prototype, refine, and finish design features in collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
• Iterate and test work for PC and Console platforms to ensure high quality.
• Collaborate with production and design leadership to provide accurate task estimations and manage schedules.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with proven released projects in a senior design or equivalent position.
• Strong hands-on experience with a major modern engine, specifically UE5 blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize work independently and adapt to changing project needs.
• Hybrid availability: Must work 3 days per week in-studio (Wednesday, Thursday, and one other day).

Nice to have

• Experience with other engines such as Unity, Decima, Frostbite, or proprietary engines.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in client-facing roles and pitching.
