What you will do

• Oversee payroll operations for designated entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Coordinate and prioritise EU Payroll team activities, managing workloads and deadlines.
• Provide guidance to local and regional teams on day-to-day payroll matters.
• Resolve complex cases including off-cycle payments, terminations, audits, and escalations.
• Build relationships with external providers and internal stakeholders in HR, Finance, and Tax.
• Support monthly reporting, validation, and ongoing payroll transformation projects.

Requirements

• Strong payroll experience in multinational/European environment
• Understanding of labour law, payroll legislation, and tax in Portugal/other EU countries
• Experience in interim assignments, transitions, or regional support
• Proven coordination skills in fast-paced settings
• Fluent English; additional EU languages advantage
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
