What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement complex software components and utilities using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead large projects and define system software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Product Owners in an Agile SCRUM environment to define user stories and new features.
• Mentor, coach, and review the work of associate software engineers to raise the technical bar.
• Ensure system resilience and maintainability through Object-Oriented Design, design patterns, and BDD testing.
• Handle production support incidents to ensure application stability and prevent outages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10-15 years of technical experience (or Master's degree plus 7-9 years).
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and JDBC.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in writing JUnit tests and using Maven and SonarQube.
• Experience with relational databases and REST API development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or Node.js.
• Experience building systems in GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with Bootstrap, Material-UI, and frontend test automation.
• Experience with log management and APM tools like Splunk or Datadog.
