What you will do

• Act as the primary technical authority on-site for strategic Lighthouse accounts, resolving real-world friction points.
• Design and implement data architectures that accelerate AI/ML training pipelines and ensure low-latency access.
• Build custom integrations and automation scripts to bridge the gap between core products and bespoke client infrastructure.
• Identify new business problems and expansion opportunities through technical scouting within customer environments.
• Translate field-discovered bugs into core product features in partnership with the Sustaining Engineering team.
• Communicate complex technical hurdles as actionable insights for data scientists and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of GPU orchestration, AI/ML data pipelines, and high-performance file systems (NFS, SMB, S3).
• Mastery of high-speed networking (InfiniBand, RoCE, 100GbE+) and debugging distributed environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or C++ for writing production-grade tools and integrations.
• Strong Linux internals expertise, including kernel tuning, storage stack performance, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Must be based in the United States.
