Location: Must be based in Mexico; availability to travel to Mexico City for occasional office events.

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end projects and features across the platform.
• Develop customer-facing product experiences using React and scalable PHP services.
• Design and integrate APIs and service interfaces between frontend and backend systems.
• Conduct code reviews and establish engineering standards to ensure software quality.
• Mentor junior engineers in a cross-functional, distributed team environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building customer-facing web applications.
• Proficiency in ES6, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and PHP.
• Strong understanding of API design, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and production operations (monitoring, debugging).
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Authorized to work in Mexico.

• Experience with Kafka.
