What you will do

• Oversee daily operations and manage employees and contractors within the local office.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring in the building sciences discipline.
• Conduct field investigations and perform peer reviews of reports and drawing/specification packages.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate building science principles into residential, commercial, and institutional designs.
• Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of building sciences projects.
• Support marketing activities to promote the practice area and manage client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Building Science.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering managing building science or structural restoration projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation (required or considered a strong asset).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to perform physical on-site evaluations, including working at heights and climbing ladders.
