Senior Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java/TypeScript/AWS): Building middleware and backend applications for a new investment mobile app targeting APAC markets with an accent on scalability, performance, and AWS cloud infrastructure. Focus on implementing microservices using Lambda and ECS, managing data with DynamoDB and Kafka, and designing RESTful APIs.

Location: Hybrid (Kraków, Poland) - 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using TypeScript, Java, Spring, and Maven.
• Implement Microservices-based solutions using AWS Lambda and ECS containers.
• Utilize Kafka for message queuing and streaming to ensure efficient data exchange.
• Work with DynamoDB for schema design, query optimization, and data integrity.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication.
• Mentor junior developers and lead the delivery of complex technical changes.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years in application development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, TypeScript, and microservice architecture.
• Robust knowledge of AWS infrastructure (API Gateway, SAM, Terraform, Kinesis, MSK, SQS, S3, EKS, ECS).
• Expertise in DynamoDB and RESTful web services.
• Proficiency in Agile practices, including pair programming, TDD, and BDD.
• Experience with GitLab for version control.
